Privacy Policy

YOSHIRITSU CO., LTD. (referred hereafter as “YOSHIRITSU”) will strictly observe the regulations for the protection of personal information. YOSHIRITSU will strive to handle our customer's personal information with appropriate management.

1. Concerning personal information.

The "personal information" referred in this item is the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and any other information which can determine an individual.

2. Concerning the acquisition of personal information.

YOSHIRITSU will receive personal information under the following conditions.

a. To provide an item or customer service to the customer.
b. To reply to an inquiry or a suggestion from a customer.
c. To mail catalogs or materials requested by the customer.
d. To mail prizes within the territory of Japan, to winners and applicants to the LaQ Art Festival and other events.
e. To offer information to the customer through e-mail.
f. To ask customers for a reply in consumer survey concerning company products and customer service.
g. To contact the customer when necessary.

3. Limit to use of personal information.

YOSHIRITSU will have access to the use of personal information provided by the customer, for purposes notified in advance to the customer.

4. Disclosure of personal information.

YOSHIRITSU will not disclose personal information provided by the customer to a third party without consent of the customer except in the following cases.

a. Disclosure being demanded under law.
b. Disclosure of personal information determined as necessary for the protection of human life, physical safety, or property but when consent cannot be received from the customer.
c. Disclosure of personal information determined as necessary for the improvement of public health and the promotion of healthy child education, however consent cannot be received from the customer.
d. Disclosure of personal information determined as necessary in order for a National Institution or a local organization to execute official duties under law, and in a situation when receiving consent from the customer may interfere with the execution of this duty.
e. Disclosure of personal information is approved by YOSHIRITSU to a company of the third party, in order to entrust business determined as necessary, for the service of the customer.

5. The management of protecting personal information.

YOSHIRITSU will strive to protect and manage the personal information of the customers by providing thorough training within YOSHIRITSU and maintaining a management structure to ensure proper attention.

YOSHIRITSU will strive to safely protect and manage personal information in a appropriate and rational method to prevent the loss, theft, damages, manipulation, and leak of this information.

YOSHIRITSU will strive to instruct and supervise the subcontracting company to protect and manage personal information with proper attention.

6. The disclosure, correction, addition, discontinuation of use, elimination of personal information.

YOSHIRITSU will respond to a customer's request for reference, or correction of their personal information, within reasonable limits, after confirmation that the customer is truly the customer requesting reference.

7. Providing personal information to a subcontracting company.

The personal information provided to a subcontracting company will be provided under the fundamental method of transfer of digital data, MEDIA, paperwork, or granting access to the company server.

Should a customer request for YOSHIRITSU to withhold personal information to a subcontracting company, this request will be granted without delay under the provisioned regulations.

8. Review and revision of basic policies.

YOSHIRITSU will review and revise basic policies when necessary. The revised basic policies will be promptly posted onto the YOSHIRITSU company website.
